Did you know Bellingham is home to an anti-Muslim hate group? Fortress of Faith is a group that believes Islam is evil and wants to evangelize all Muslim people. The group Fortress of Faith is headed by Pastor Josh Carter. Pastor Carter is one of the heads of Bellingham Baptist Church, billed as “the friendliest place in town.”

The group and the Baptist Church list the same address on Orleans Street as their business address.

While the economy is growing and the job market is good (especially for technically inclined job hunters), the cost of living has skyrocketed. The homeless population includes more families and those working full time than ever before, as well.
